“Caring” and “Sales” are two words rarely found in the same sentence or heard in the same conversation together.
Indeed, many people nowadays don’t find sales – both as a skill and as a profession – as appealing, all because they think that most salespeople are only there to meet their own ends and not the customer that they are trying to do business with.
This stereotype is why many retail business owners developed an aversion to selling, and why more and more customers are turning to e-commerce websites like Amazon for their needs these days.
However, just because this stereotype exists, it doesn’t mean that you should follow the same mould as the rest.
You can break this barrier and find success in sales by showing your customers that you care and want to help them out with their concern.
